The NINFA consortium meets M30 at Nantes, France, to review the progress of the project

The consortium of the NINFA project, coordinated by Leitat, gathered for its 30-month follow-up meeting on 29–30 April 2025 at the facilities of IMT Atlantique in Nantes, France.

The Arpil meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the project and presenting the achievements reached so far. Special focus was given to the development of the NINFA platform, one of the project’s core outcomes. This digital solution aims to prevent groundwater contamination, monitor its quality, and improve its resilience.

Another important part of the discussion revolved around the NINFA social game mobile app, designed to raise awareness and engage citizens in groundwater-related challenges and broader environmental issues.

During the meeting, Leitat ensured to strengthen the collaboration among partners and aligned future steps to ensure the success of the project’s next milestones. In addition, Leitat presented the advances in WP3, focused on the water treatment technologies and the sustainibility assessment of NINFA strategy.
