On 22 March 2024, the NEWSKIN project consortium, composed of 34 partners, gathered in Orléans (France) to review the project’s progress and outline the final steps toward long-term sustainability.
The 8th Consortium Meeting focused on assessing the overall progress and setting the path for lasting impact. With the extension granted to complete the execution of use cases, partners confirmed that all facilities and services are now fully operational, allowing efforts to shift toward consolidating the Open Innovation Test Bed model.
Discussions emphasized the exploitation plan, including the transfer of developed technologies and the creation of tailored roadmaps to support adoption beyond the consortium. Strategies to expand the aisbl membership and identify new collaboration opportunities were also discussed as key to reinforcing the innovation ecosystem.
The meeting concluded with a focus on finalising the execution of Open Calls, boosting member engagement, and establishing a robust framework for the continuity of NEWSKIN’s services after the project ends.
